Set via ferrata de ultima generatie, model 2020, probabil cel mai bun set de pe piata. Este conform noului standard EN 958. Pentru utilizatori cu o masa de la 40 la 120 kg, ceea ce il face ideal pentru servicii de inchiriere unde poate fi folosit de o gama larga de persoane (copii-juniori-adulti).

Absorbantul de soc ultra-modern de la LACD - LACD UHMPE (Ultra-High-Molecularweight Polyethylene): comparativ cu alte fibre textile utilizate la alte echipamente de pe piata are urmatoarele caracteristici superioare: este extrem de rezistent, volum mic, greutate mica, absorbtie mica de apa, inalta rezistenta la UV, elongatie mica. 

Carabinierele ULTIMATE sunt dimensionate generos, usor de utilizat, cu dubla-actiune, fara elemente din plastic, inchidere automata, rezistenta 28KN, deschidere a clapetei de 25mm, rezistente la forfecare/indore conform standardului UIAA 121, lucru extrem de important pentru o carabiniera utilizata in via ferrata. In varianta ULTIMATE S, bratele lonjei sunt legate de shock=absorber prin intermediul unui swivel din OL inox.

Demanding Via Ferrata climbers are enthusiastic about the comfortable handling of the Set Ultimate Ferrata  by LACD. The via ferrata set is also particularly suitable for light people. From 40 kg (without additional luggage) and up to a total user weight of 120 kg (including luggage), the belt energy absorber ensures efficient braking in the event of a fall. The LACD UHMPE * energy absorber offers particularly even tearing properties over its entire length. In the Ultimate Ferrata S set variant, the elastic arms are connected to a stainless steel swivel. This stable swivel prevents the via ferrata arms from twisting when clipping the carabiners. Time-consuming and troublesome untangling of the via ferrata arms in the via ferrata is no longer necessary. The generously dimensioned via ferrata carabiners with their ergonomically optimized shape are particularly convenient when climbing via ferratas. They lie perfectly in the hand and can be super clipped. The carabiners are easy to use, energy-saving and very safe thanks to the double mechanism.
To open the handball switch and the snap must be operated at the same time. This is done by clipping the wire rope from above by simply closing the fist. This also works if the carabiners are pressed together with the thumb on the snapper and the other fingers on the handball switch. The carabiner locks automatically when released. The carabiner does not open when you only press the snap or the handball switch. The fingers on the Ultimate carabiner are far away from the steel cable, making it difficult to pinch them.
The Ultimate Carabiner is made entirely of aluminum and steel. He also dispenses with plastic parts that could break. With their 25 mm snap opening, they are perfectly dimensioned for use on wire ropes and iron conductors. With 28 kN when closed and 16 kN when open, the two aluminum carabiners have high safety reserves. The Ultimate carabiners have also been tested for bending stress in accordance with UIAA 121.

UHMPE is the abbreviation for Ultra-High-Molecularweight Polyethylene. These are fibers made from particularly long polyethylene chains.
The properties of UHMPE, compared to other fibers used in mountain sports equipment, are: high breaking strength, low volume and weight, low water absorption, fully static (low elongation), high UV resistance but also a low melting point.
